Fantastic way to spend our morning

We had a fantastic morning exploring parts of Sanur I had not seen before. Our guide Widuri was lovely and very informative. I would highly recommend doing this tour.

Excellent 4 Day guided cycle Trip recommended to all.

Where to start? My husband and I just took a 4-day cycle tour with Sanur Cycling Tours. From the minute we were picked up from the airport by a friendly punctual Wayan to him dropping us back at our next hotel, we were treated like honoured guests. The bikes were excellent quality, and we were fitted the day before we got going. From then, our excellent guide Dwi, who was so safe and helpful, and our driver Wayan made sure everything was perfect. Water, snacks, hotels, and meals all sorted - all we had to do was pedal and follow Dwi. If we were tired - Wayan was there to pick us up. We stopped on our way to look and learn about Bali life - waterfalls, temples, villages, paddy fields, and all the things. We ate in fantastic local restaurants and stayed in clean home stays. We can not recommend Sanur enough. We had an excellent massage each thrown in at the traditional village where we stayed for one night. It was a joy to be there when the crowds had left for the day. Balinese people are so warm and welcoming, and this trip was a joy from start to finish. Thank you everyone! We hope to be back.

Fabulous ride with Sanur Cycles

Had a great 70+km ride. Rode from Sanur to Ubud and return. Such a great experience. A little scary on the crazy Bali roads but knew I was in safe hands with Dwi. She was awesome. The sights along the way were beautiful. Ivan is amazing and was so helpful from the get-go. He has a wonderful local team and that’s because he looks after them all so well. Will definitely be in touch with Sanur Cycles next visit. Thanks again Ivan, Wayan & Dwi.

A Cycle Tour Worth Booking!

When I reach out to Sanur Cycle Tours via email, I expressed my lack of confidence in cycling and requested to join the smallest group to avoided slowing them down. Ivan, reassured me and arranged for my own dedicated tour guide. I paid for the tour in advance, which can always be a risk, but this company is undoubtedly trustworthy and legitimate. I booked the sunrise Jurassic tour that started at 6am. The night before the tour, I wasn't feeling well, so I contacted Ivan to inquire about rescheduling for the following day. He was understanding and accommodating which was truly appreciated. Thankfully, I didn't need to reschedule. During the tour, my guide Widuri made the experience a lot of fun and showed incredible patience with me. She encouraged me to gain more confidence on the bike. The tour lasted just over three hours and the breathtaking sunrise views around Sanur made it worthwhile.

100% must try!

Fantastic morning exploring Sanur by bicycle

We thoroughly enjoyed our Jurassic Park cycle tour. Wayan and Widuri were fantastic guides and treated our children like their own. Taman Festival was very cool to explore and cycling along the beachfront and rice fields topped off a beautiful morning. Highly recommend. The cycle tour was our favourite activity we did when staying in Sanur.

Awesome bike tour

Such a great bike tour! We chose the Taman Festival tour and were so happy we did. We were picked up from our hotel at 545am and by 6am we were riding down the road towards the ocean ready to see the sunrise. Our guide, Widuri, was so lovely and helped us lift our bikes over some barriers on the little bridges. We stopped often to take photos and no trouble for Widuri to take some of us too. She shared loads of information with us to make it more interesting on the way. The Taman Festival is simply amazing and such a cool place to go. Seeing the jungle plants overtaken all the buildings is quite amazing. After this we went into a traditional market to see local foods and fresh fish being sold and then rode along see watermelons being harvested. We saw young rice growing in paddies and then rode back into town but stopped at a super place for delicious coffee, juice and tasty Balinese treats. We were driven back to our hotel when we all finished. We would definitely do another tour with Sanur Cycles when we come back as they were so easy to communicate with and very professional. What an awesome way to see some of the back roads of Sanur and the beautiful beach track. Our guide was absolutely fantastic and took extra care of us travelling with our grandson who was 8. You guys rock.

I had a great mid-morning cycling tour through Sanur with this company. Communication and service was really good! Nice company! If you want to see some places in/around Sanur, try a cycle tour with them :).

We did the Sunrise tour with Wayan yesterday, it was very exciting and fun. We picked up at 5.40, went to the shop to get the bike, and start cycling. The beach looks amazing in the morning. We ride a beautiful path along the beach, with nice restaurants at the other side... Padi fields and local market... and stop by at sea turtle conservation. The tour really gives you a different perspective to enjoy Sanur.

I did the Jurassic Park ride with Annie and Wayan last week. Picked up on time at 5.45am and taken to their shop starting point. Nice, excellent condition bikes which were very easy to ride with a handy little basket! We rode up the beach path to the old festival park. I was fortunate to visit the park as a child as it opened in 1997. Had ample time to wander around. At times the path was quite slippery ( due to moss/ wet/ jungle growth on the old mosaics/ pavement around) Ensure you wear a lot of insect Repellent- there are a huge amount of mosquito's about. From there we crossed the bypass to cycle through Sanur and over to the rice paddies, where we stopped for a light breakfast. Then rode back to the starting point. I was checked in with frequently to ensure I was going ok and the pace suitable. It is quite flat overall, so a very enjoyable ride. Annie and Wayan were very friendly and informative and made for a very enjoyable morning

My wife and I loved the morning tour we did today - picked up on time at our hotel at 06:30 and we were off cycling before 7 (good to be out early to beat the heat). Lovely mix of busy streets (the traffic is not an issue, very courteous and didn’t feel in danger at any time) and quiet laneways. Really takes you behind the scenes. Morning tea stop in the rice paddies with lovely Indonesian treats and then onto a really good coffee at Bellissimo. Back to beach through laneways and then cycled the length of the beach broad walk. 21kms all up which was great.

Setting off at 6am we cycled along Sanur Beach stopping to to seen the amazing sunrise. We then carried along the beach to "Jurassic Park" -Taman Festival Bali an old amusement park, just north of Sanur. Closed due to economic issues in 2002 and has been abandoned ever since. Interesting to see the slow ruining of the buildings, statues, theatre, eating areas that the jungle/plants are slowly taking over. Great for Photos! Great morning with great guides and a good way to explore the local area.
